Candle Care

Always trim your wick to about ¼ inch before lighting.

This removes excess buildup on the wick (aka, that mushrooming we talked about) and helps the candle to have a cleaner burn. You don’t want to be burning off that leftover, burnt material, right?

If you don’t have a trimmer and you can reach the wick, you can usually pinch off the excess material with your fingertips and a tissue, but it can be messy.
